Luella Alice Dahl, daughter of Lewis & Anna Dahl, was born on June 13, 1910.

Luella passed away on May 7, 1967, in Rice County, Minnesota.
From the Dahl Family History Book:
“LUELLA ALICE DAHL
Luella was born on June 13, 1910, the 2nd youngest of Lewis and Anna Dahl. She attended the first eight grades of the Golden Rod school. It was hard for her to learn as she was slightly retarded. She stayed at the different brothers and sisters homes, helping where she could. She also stayed with her mother until her mother passed away.
She also made her home at Arthur, N.D. and Faribault, Mn., each for a time. They cared for her at each place.
I remember her as sitting in a rocking chair, rocking and singing about Jesus; also reading her Bible or a good story book. She did fancy work such as crocheting and embroidering – beautiful work.
As far as I am concerned, Luella always knew the Lord and never fell away from Him; and someday, by God’s Grace, I hope to see her in Glory.
Luella passed away May 7, 1957. The funeral was held in Jevnaker with Pastor Lovaas preaching on Pslams 130. The Espe boys sang, ‘If You Know The Lord’. Norma & Thelma also sang a duet. Magnus Hanson spoke a few words concerning the surety of the Lord Jesus living in Luella’s heart. She was buried in Jevnaker cemetary.”
