Dorothy Mae Carol Dahl, daughter of Anton & Ella Dahl was born December 24, 1929 in Ada, Minnesota. She was baptised in the home of her parents on January 9, 1930. She is listed in the 1930 US Census with her parents and older brother, David.
Sadly, she died on February 8, 1936 in the hospital in Ada, having contracted measles, then mastoid (likely after an ear infection, a common measles complication), followed by phneumonia, according to the newpaper clipping below.
Following her funeral at Jevnaker Lutheran Church, burial was at the Jevnaker Cemetery.
